The Elementals
There were seven original elemental species, each an automaton and servant of their elemental sphere's norn: the Baetylii (crystal elementals, the Råo (tree-elementals), the Jötunn (water-elementals), the Vajra (air-elementals), the Dharà (stone-elementals), the Ptah (metal-elementals) and the Kojin (fire-elementals).
Whilst the Baetylii once served the crystal norn, they now serve Atem and after Dvallin's death the Dharà lie mostly dormant and forgotten waiting for a new norn or a reason to awaken. In creating an underworld, Atem's actions had the unintended consequence of creating a new death-elemental species known as the Rot.
